Nice, day two
Wake up? Coffee. Get some.
We then walked on over to the Place Massena
Where, we quickly realized we were in the middle of a protest. Not sure what it was about, but there were a ton of people. Apparently it's the cool thing to do, because there were bands on the back of moving trucks, people cheering, everything you could think of. Except for beer.
The night before, we had tried to hike to the top of the Lou Casteu, but it was closed :( So, we went again.
From the top, we noticed what looked like a farmers' market. Must go. Who doesn't like a good farmers' market?
After walking down to the market we had seen earlier, we found out it was the Cours Saleya.
All. Olives.
And cheeeessseeeee
We decided to get some, and have a pseudo-lunch on the beach.
Where, we saw this guy. He walked by us mumbling something, but like anything else I don't understand, I just smiled and nodded. He walked away, towards these two girls.
On the way over there, he saw something. He bent down, picked it up, smelled it. Then he did the same thing with more of the same right next to it.
Then, he went over to the girls, and started chatting with them. After shaking both of their hands.
What had he picked up earlier? Dog poo.
This guy was AMAZING. He had wheeled a piano over, and played it. Seriously. Talent. It was then that I realized I had no talent I could wow people with like this. Need to get started on something.
Crepes.
This is where we waited for the bus, that was going to take us to the airport. Only, it never came. Because of the strike. Some guy saw us and he was going to the airport also, so we split a cab there. Not too shabby.
Nice, was nice :)

Oh, that sounds like a lovely day! I went to Nice and loved it - I remember grabbing cheese and bread and having picnics on the rocks overlooking the beach. Awesome!
The cheeses look wonderful. I love cheese. I hope they tasted as good as they looked! :)
Elle - Same as we did!
OK Chick - Mmmmm... Cheeeeessseeee
